A company from Iowa that produces ice cream has initiated a recall for approximately 18,000 containers of ice cream and frozen yogurt due to fears that they might include fragments of plastic.
Last month, Wells Enterprises from Le Mars initiated the voluntary recall, as per the recent information disclosed by the Food and Drug Administration.

KXAS-TV has reported that the national recall encompasses 22 varieties of ice cream and frozen yogurt, each sold in 3-gallon containers. The affected items bear "Best If Used By" dates spanning from March to October 2026.
